Where the wonder began

Somewhere between
imagination and pretend.

When Sage was four and a half, we talked about lucid dreaming: knowing you’re dreaming and sometimes being able to shape the dream. Sage made the idea her own. She called it “fluid dreaming”—and wanted it to work while she was awake, to “magic” things into existence.

Somewhere between imagination and pretend, Sage’s fluid dreaming creates wonder. This story grew from that idea.

Made for reading together

A gentle rhythm
at the end of the day.

Gently rhythmic, rhyming verse gives the story a steady beat for reading aloud as bedtime draws near. Sparse, flowing black-ink illustrations and sage-green accents leave room for the imagination.

Clear letterforms, generous spacing, and strong black-on-white contrast were chosen with parents, grandparents, and older eyes in mind—including those reading by a bedside lamp.
