BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Gather a few things.

This sheet and a pencil; choose a safe skill with your grown-up.

One useful question

“What felt different this time?”

HOW IT GOES

  1. Pick something small: a paper fold, a drawing shape or a short rhythm.
  2. After each try, add a mark and one thing you noticed. The tries can happen on different days.
  3. At the fifth space, look back. Choose whether to repeat, rest or try something new.

Make it gentler

Use three tries and drawings instead of writing.

Add a little stretch

Change one practice approach and describe whether it helped.

A good place to stop

Stop after one comfortable try. Empty spaces can wait.
