BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Gather a few things.

This sheet and crayons. No dice or cutting needed.

One useful question

“What could they try first?”

HOW IT GOES

  1. Point to one character: fox, robot or cloud.
  2. Choose a place: garden, moon or library.
  3. Give your character a problem. Draw a beginning, a try and an ending.

Make it gentler

Tell the story aloud while your grown-up sketches.

Add a little stretch

Tell a second ending using the same beginning.

A good place to stop

Give the story a title.
