BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Gather a few things.
This sheet, a pencil and a grown-up for an outdoor look.
One useful question
“What did you notice after looking a little longer?”
HOW IT GOES
- Choose one thing to observe where it is: a leaf, cloud, tree or bird.
- Draw its shape and add details you can actually see.
- Record a question. It is fine to leave its name unknown.
Make it gentler
Choose a large, easy-to-see thing; grown-up writes your words.
Add a little stretch
Compare two examples and label a difference without guessing why.
A good place to stop
Share one observation and one question.
